Artist Statement:
For some time now, people have been placing greater significance on their differences rather than considering the value of any similarities. While this has an upside, in recent years it has spun wildly out of control and serves more to separate us rather than bring us closer. In reality we are more similar and connected to one another than we like to think. Remembering, or at least acknowledging that, could go a long way in achieving understanding and appreciating who we are.
